Inspired by the launch of Series 3 of Bridgerton, we decided to host our very own Regency inspired Open House event last month for newly engaged couples looking for their dream wedding venue. We were delighted by the enthusiastic turnout, ably assisted by the glorious sunshine which decided to turn up and show the gardens in particular off to their full potential.
To those of you who joined us, thank you so much for coming along; we hope you had as much fun as we did! For those of you who were unable to attend, fear not as we have plenty of inspiration to share with you below. And if you were unable to make it this time then we are always happy to offer a private showcase for you and your intended at a date and time of your choosing. Just contact the team to book in your private tour.
Special thanks must go to Nesta Lloyd Photography for taking all of the photos that appear in this post. Thank you so much Nesta for taking the time to snap them for us so that we can share them here on our blog.
The endlessly talented Mat from Red Floral sprinkled his magic over our marquee and created a romantic blush infused theme that was woven throughout the floral decor. The result using tonnes of the fluffiest peonies was incredibly romantic and was accessorised perfectly with paper perfection in the form of stationary designed by Cara of The Little Paper Shop Designs.
Against the backdrop of Mat’s creations, we had Nicola from Boutique Bakery whose beautiful cakes sat perfectly amongst the flowers and completely blew us away; you can see more of her fabulous designs over on her website.
Katie from Unique Your Wedding dressed our Coach House using soft rustic country garden blooms which was the perfect complement to the amazing cakes made by the lovely Heather at TSP Cake which were on display for all our visitors to marvel over. We couldn’t believe how lifelike the sugar flowers and foliage were which you can see in the images above.
Culinary treats abounded throughout the weekend. Guests were welcomed with Iscoyd cocktails by our Iscoyd team alongside a self serve bar pictured above. After all, exploring your dream wedding venue is thirsty work! Canapés were served by our wonderful waiters and waitresses which were a resounding success given the rate at which they disappeared!
Elsewhere, Katie from Unique Your Wedding, also dressed the Pigeon House and created a wonderful outdoor ceremony set up making the most of the fine weather which she did with aplomb. We were treated to a regency inspired scheme which added to the beauty of Iscoyd’s sunshine infused spaces.
Our very own Fairy Godmother, Charlotte Tyler Creed treated us to a tablescape that the matriarch of Bridgerton, Queen Charlotte, would be proud of. Set up for all to delight over in the gardens, the table was replete with flowers, decadence and lots of beautiful details. We’re rather proud we can boast that she’s a member of the Iscoyd team.
Jonny Ross Music serenaded us in the gardens accompanied by Saxophone and we were utterly spoilt by the quality and variety in entertainment throughout Iscoyd. And our trusty Pizza van Philomena was back on site serving up delicious pizzas, having undergone a bit of a spruce up before the summer wedding season truly kicked off.
All that remains to be said is that the Iscoyd team had the most wonderful weekend and we continue to be inspired by the creativity of both suppliers and couples that are involved in the weddings we host here. We love hearing about the ideas and visions that you have for your big events and it’s an honour for us to host one of the most important days of your life.
Special thanks go to the following suppliers for being superstars and supporting us on the day.
