…an evening of Opera on Thursday 4th May 2023.

After the phenomenal success of last year’s Opera event captured in all its glory here by Little Paper Shop, we were keen to repeat the musical magic for 2023. Imagine our delight when Wild Arts happily agreed to a second performance here at Iscoyd Park.

So on Thursday 4th May we will be excitedly welcoming a mix of talented and experienced young musicians to perform 75 minutes of musical heaven for us. All of the relevant details relating to timings and tickets can be found below so please keep reading to find out more.

Our opera evening 2023 is a love story built around favourite opera classics, arranged into 75 minutes of musical heaven, sung by the stars of tomorrow and accompanied by a stunning string quintet. An eclectic mix including Handel and Hammerstein, Mozart and Tom Lehrer, Rossini and Sondheim will be played to what we know will be a captivated audience.

This special performance is being held in aid of Clwyd Special Riding Centre. The Centre provides equine therapy for those with additional needs including learning and physical difficulties. The charity aims to improve confidence, life skills and wellbeing both on and off the horse for all those that need it. We are so very happy to help support them in their charitable works.

We’ll be kicking things off with glasses of fizz and canapés at 7.15pm to welcome you before settling down to watch the performance at 7.45pm. After an interval at 8.30pm where we’ll be serving drinks and bowl food, the performance will resume again at 9.15pm.

Tickets are priced at just £75 per person and include an arrival drink, interval refreshments and dessert. Group discounts are available for those booking four or more tickets.
