In 2011 we were awarded the UK’s Best Wedding Venue by the Hudson’s Heritage Award – the UK’s leading awards for public heritage sites. The win earned us a double page spread in Dream Weddings Magazine as well as local coverage in the North Shropshire Chronicle, the Wrexham Leader and the Shropshire Star.

Iscoyd Park has been in my family, the Godsals, for more than 175 years and 10 generations, but was only restored into the beautiful wedding venue you see today in 2010 so we were delighted to be recognised so soon after the restoration.

Our restoration of the property also earned us one of two commendations in the Sotheby’s and Historic Houses Association Restoration Awards in 2010 and in 2012 we were awarded the UK’s Best Wedding Accommodation for our new Stable Yard Rooms. The renovation was covered by Shropshire Magazine in February 2011 – we kept the cutting, seen below!

Since restoration we have continued to improve the venue and in 2013 the Welsh Tourist Board recognised our efforts by awarding Iscoyd Park with the Gold Award for excellence in B&B accommodation.
