When Jane and Duncan chose our venue for their special day we knew it was going to be a memorable affair: because they are a lovely couple and also because the UK’s number one bridal magazine, Wedding Ideas, would be covering the wedding for their real life section.
The article featured some beautiful photography, including the image above that now appears in our own Your Wedding section. In the article both Jane and Duncan share the story of their day and gave their top tips for other couples planning their wedding. One tip from Jane encouraged others to “ask the venue to recommend suppliers – the hair stylist ours suggested was brilliant”. We can recommend suppliers, from DJs to photographers, to anyone planning their wedding or party at Iscoyd.
Kirsty and Andrew
Meanwhile one of our chosen suppliers Marie Lloyd Photography featured the wedding of Kirsty and Andrew on their popular blog. As well as some gorgeous images the photographers also thank our caterers, The Fine Dining Company, for “the nicest pieces of beef they have ever had” and that “eating al fresco sat in the gardens at Iscoyd, it was like being on holiday”.
Lolly and Ste
We really have been lucky to host some of the most amazing weddings at Iscoyd, and make some lifelong friends along the way. One of them, Lolly, who married her husband Ste here in October 2012, also happens to be the editor of one of the most famous wedding blogs – Rock My Wedding. Lolly shared her big day with her loyal readers over at RMW but that was definitely not the end.
Since her wedding (seen below) Lolly has not only held RMW photoshoots at Iscoyd, she also now writes a guest blog for us every month sharing her wedding ideas and inspiration. You can watch the film of Lolly and Ste’s big day here.
Charlotte and Teddy
Last but not least, we were extremely privileged to be the chosen venue of wedding designer royalty when Charlotte Balbier married her husband Teddy at Iscoyd in 2013. The wedding was featured on the blog Love My Dress, who were also one of the first to write about Charlotte’s new 2015 wedding dress collection named after our venue and featuring the dresses she herself wore on her wedding day.
