I first visited Iscoyd Park with my parents and we instantly fell in love and after re-visiting with Harry, we both agreed it was perfect! As soon as we entered the grounds we felt super relaxed but felt the venue still kept its grand and luxurious appearance! The ceremony room was our favourite room of all and with the very unpredictable UK weather, well, having an indoor ceremony was always the plan for us!
Oh this is a hard question because every single part of the day was just perfect. I think the ceremony might have just edged it for me though – we stayed in separate buildings the night before and didn’t text once, so seeing Harry in my dress for the first time that day filled me with soooo much overwhelming happy emotion! This was also the first time I had seen my guests so I was so excited knowing that we had the rest of the day to celebrate with our favourite people! We loved every minute.
We always knew exactly the theme we wanted! I’m a neutral girl through and through and Harry loves the colour black so we naturally fell into what I’ve been calling a ‘modern luxe’ theme. It was all about incorporating natural flowers, textures and lighting for me, I didn’t want anything too over the top – just something subtle and pretty! My dad’s side of the family are from Italy and I felt like the long tables, plinths and bud vases gave off Amalfi vibes and I feel like this all came together perfectly!
I wore a ‘Made With Love‘ bridal dress, purchased from Love Bridal Cheshire! The bridesmaid dresses were from Lavish Alice and they were such good quality!
I wanted to make sure that throughout our decor, the primary colour was white with subtle hints of blush and beige. I am completely obsessed with white Orchids, roses and Hydrangeas they are my favouriteeeee flowers ever! After speaking with Rebecca from Ivy Pip and Rose she completely understood the assignment and managed to get the pearliest white flowers and most subtle pinks and beige flowers to match my vision!
Lauren Stacey was our Photographer and John Taylor Films was our videographer and wow they were an absolute dream team!! Me and Harry are SO awkward in front of a camera and we didnt want to feel like we had to spend half of our day posing for pictures so choosing suppliers that understood this was so important for us! I think I said ‘Candid and Vogue’ was the inspo 😂
Oh wow so it got a bit wild 🤣 Harry’s favourite drink is Jaeger bomb and I actually think Chelcie said we drunk the venue dry of Jaeger 😂 we had a DJ and Sax from Jonny Ross and they were insane! I remember ending up on Harry’s shoulders at one point looking at my guests thinking this is the best night of my life!
Planning a wedding can be like having another job so choosing the right venue and suppliers, is so important! Chelcie, our wedding planner at Iscoyd went the extra mile to make sure that we were well prepared and arranged any personal requests.. so basically, get a Chelcie in your life and enjoy every single minute of your planning! Leave any stress at home so you can enjoy your special day with your person, because it really will be the BEST day of your life 🤍
