We immediately fell in love with the ‘feel’ of Iscoyd Park. It felt warm and cosy but bright and timeless at the same time and truly was everything we were looking for. We were also completely overwhelmed with how helpful, kind and genuinely caring all of the staff were from the moment we stepped into Iscoyd Park; it felt like a family and they were so happy to have us join that family.
We also loved that our family and closest friends would get to experience Iscoyd Park too, especially those staying over with us the night of the wedding…and not to mention the stunning cottage that the bridal party got to stay in the night before!
The rooms at Iscoyd Park are truly exceptional and so special. We felt like it was our way of saying ‘thank you’ to those nearest and dearest by being able to provide them with such a beautiful space to end a night of singing, dancing and laughing.
We both would have to agree that getting married at St. Mary’s Church was extremely special for us both. St Mary’s is a gorgeous little white church that was introduced to us by the incredible Iscoyd Park team after they had heard our wedding day vision. We also loved letting all of our guests staying at Iscoyd Park go and view their rooms at the end of the night and watching their reactions to their beautiful rooms. We had tried to pair the rooms to suit the guests staying in them based on the interior.
Our wedding was themed all around the wildflower, which was completely inspired by the beautiful gardens of Iscoyd Park. We noticed the gorgeous lavender when we first came to view Iscoyd Park and decided that was going to be the colour of the wedding. From the bridesmaid dresses, the groomsmens’ ties and incorporating lavender where we could alongside our beautiful wildflowers.
Our flowers were by the incredible English Bridge Flowers. They created all of the buttonholes, bouquets, table centrepieces and a gorgeous broken arch. They created everything with wildflowers and ensured that each table looked a little bit different to go with their wildflower names such as ‘sweetpea’ and ‘daisy’.
Our photographer was Ben Stokes (Wedding Guy Cheshire). Ben and Dominic know each other through living in the same area, but we absolutely loved his work. His editing style is exactly what we wanted and his approach made us feel so calm and relaxed on our day and took the pressure off us completely.
We chose the band ‘Luna Fall’. Their energy was absolutely amazing and they were so personal with the songs they chose to play for us. They really got to know us and our favourite songs and artists and even surprised us with some that we didn’t know they were playing which was extremely special to us!
