Calling all newly engaged couples!
We know that Christmas is a time when many couples choose to tie the knot; huge congratulations to you if this is you! We are so incredibly excited for you both.
With so many couples beginning their wedding planning journey, we’ve decided to kick off the new year with not one but four chances to view Iscoyd in all its glory. Choose from intimate private tours earlier in the month or join us for the big showcase at the end of January (if you can wait that long!) where you’ll have the chance to meet lots of our recommended suppliers too. Come along and meet our wonderful team and book on for a tour with one of our Fairy Godmothers who will show you around the house and find out more about your plans for your wedding day.
We’ll be hosting two mini Open House events which are aimed at a more intimate show around on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th January, where you can enjoy a private tour of the house and grounds with one of our wedding fairy godmothers!
If you’re unable to join us for one of our mini Open Days or perhaps you fancy a second opportunity to come and take a look around and experience the magic of Iscoyd as well as chatting to some of our handpicked suppliers, then please come along on Saturday 27th or Sunday 28th January for our big showcase weekend instead. On all four dates, things will kick off at 11am and finish at 4pm.
If our previous events are anything to go by, you can be sure of tonnes of inspiration for your wedding day, some delicious food to sample and of course some refreshing beverages in the gardens as you explore. All areas of the house will be decorated and festooned to provide you with lots of inspiration for your own wedding day. Take a look around the Pigeon House – our licensed outdoor ceremony area, bathe in the serenity of our Garden Room, take in the exposed beams and whitewashed brick rustic elegance of the Coach House or jump on the minibus which will take guests wanting a church ceremony to the beautiful St Mary’s Whitewell to find out more. The minibus will also provide transport to our rather splendid Iscoyd Cottage accommodation too.
We pride ourselves on building wonderful relationships with lots of wedding suppliers, from videographers to photographers, cake bakers, florists and event stylists many of whom return to Iscoyd time and time again. As a result we’ve become firm friends with many of them and so we like to invite some of these talented folk to our Open Days as well. This gives you all the opportunity to get to know us but also to meet these fabulous people too and perhaps utilise their services for your special event. We’re very happy to announce that the following talented people will be joining us at our Open Days; Shutterbox Films,Toscana Strings, Nesta Lloyd Photography, Harvey Films, Little Papershop Designs, Marie Antoinette Cakes, Jonny Ross Music, Lisa Webb Photography, TSP Cake, Helen Baly Photography, Birdie Camper Van, Claire Penn Photography, Unique Your Wedding, Boutique Bakery and Capture It Photo Booth and the inimitable Red Floral Architecture amongst others.
We’d love to invite as many new and booked couples as possible but we do have to limit it to four people per group. You can reserve your slot by following this link. When reserving your slot, please amend the quantity so that we know how many of you are coming! For those of you who haven’t booked with us, we’ll endeavour to stick to your viewing time but may occasionally run over.
The Open Day event is available for both newly engaged couples and also those who have already booked their wedding here at Iscoyd to come along, chat to suppliers, share ideas with our Fairy Godmothers and indulge in a canapé or two.
We can’t wait to see you there.
Special thanks go to Tobiah Tayo Photography for all the images used in this post from our Open Day event in January 2023.
