Iscoyd Park was actually our 13th venue viewing but from the moment we viewed the house, grounds and met Charlotte we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. Incredible interiors aside, it was the team at Iscoyd that confirmed it for us!
I can’t whittle it down to just one, but my top three moments have to be getting ready with my Mum and bridesmaids at the Iscoyd Cottage the morning of the wedding, the wonderful speeches and then of course making some moves on the wonderful Iscoyd dance floor.
Our dress code was black tie so we wanted to keep the theme fairly classic and felt that it went perfectly with the navy and blush colour scheme that we had running through the rest of the wedding.
In keeping with a more classic feel, I wore Caroline Castigliano and the bridesmaids wore navy cowl-neck Pretty Lavish dresses. The ushers wore black tie for a classic and sophisticated look.
Our flowers were on the whole locally sourced from Cheshire-based Carol’s Garden by our lovely florist Emily at Linden Lea. We didn’t want a really manicured look for our flowers and instead opted for more of an organic, wild spring theme. Colours at that time of year are beautiful!
Lauren Juliette was our photographer and she was brilliant! We absolutely fell in love with her style the moment we came across her pictures and she made us feel so comfortable on the day. Jade Touron was our second photographer and did a particularly great job on the groom and groomsman in Iscoyd’s library. Our filmographer was Paul from Harvey Films who worked so brilliantly with both Lauren and Jade; they really were the dream team and we couldn’t have got through the day without them.
The evening entertainment was some of my highlight. We had the Rolling Keys band who were brilliant and really got the dance floor going. They changed it up between live band, saxophone and DJ, a combination we thought worked really well. We also had Birdie Photobooth in the evening which was great for more photos and a bit of fun.
Take it all in and enjoy every moment. Ultimately nothing will go 100% the way you planned but it will be the best day of your life and so it’s important to appreciate the day and the lead up for what it is.
