We simply cannot believe that it is 2023 and that we have 365 days ahead of us laid bare like a tabula rasa ready to be filled with your memories and special events. Before we begin to share the details of some of the plans we have in store for the forthcoming season, we wanted to take a moment to say that we hope that you were all able to take a moment to put your feet up and relax with friends and family in the final days of last month – easier said than done we know.
We are already prepping for our Open Weekend which will be taking place in just two weeks time. On the 14th & 15th January we will be throwing open our doors and welcoming lots of lovely couples into the house and gardens to take a look around. More details on the event itself and how to book can be found below.
Our Sunday Lunches for both December and January sold like hot cakes but fear not if you weren’t able to join us we can confirm that there are plans afoot to add more dates in 2023. Keep your eyes peeled on both our Instagram account and our future newsletters where we’ll be revealing future dates first!
All that remains to be said is Happy New Year to you all. We hope that 2023 is kind to you all and filled with love and adventure.
We’re beyond excited to announce that we’ll be kicking 2023 off in style with a supersized Open Weekend spread over two days to provide everyone with an opportunity to come and take a look round and experience the magic of Iscoyd for themselves.
If you are considering choosing Iscoyd Park for your wedding venue or perhaps you’ve become engaged over the festive season (congratulations!) and are on the hunt for the perfect spot to host your nuptials then this is the event for you!
Save the weekend of 14 & 15th January for a sustainably inspired showcase where we’ll be joining forces with Rock My Wedding and their sustainable initiative – Recycle My Wedding – over the weekend. Rock My Wedding will be demonstrating their most stylish eco-friendly solutions so you can have the day of your dreams without costing the earth. We’re very excited to be collaborating with them on this event.
There will also be an opportunity to meet other suppliers on both the Saturday and Sunday too. The most talented videographers, florists, musicians and bakers will be ready and waiting to talk you through your vision for your wedding day. We have the wonderful Shutterbox Films, Nero String Quartet, Helen Baly Photography, Birdie Camper Van, The Word Is Love, Red Floral, Jonny Ross Music and Boutique Bakery to name a few!
The event is free to attend but we would ask that you ‘book’ your slot by following this link so that we can determine just how many of you are coming. When reserving your slot, please amend the quantity so that we know how many of you are coming! For those of you who haven’t booked with us, we’ll endeavour to stick to your viewing time but may occasionally run over.
We’d love to invite as many new and booked couples as possible but we do have to limit it to four people per group so that we can treat as many of you as possible to all the food and drink offerings! We can’t promise the heat and blue skies in the image above – it is January after all – but we can share some images from past Open Days below and we know that this upcoming showcase will be just as fun! We can’t wait to welcome you!

Iscoyd Park has been in the Godsal family since 1843, Phil and Susie Godsal took over the running of the house in 2009 and began a much needed restoration project. They live in the house today with their three children and run it both as a wedding and events venue and a family home. Find out more about us.
