Here at Iscoyd, we are passionate about food! From our delicious wedding menus to our amazing supper clubs, our focus is on great food for all of our guests! With 2020 just round the corner we thought we would help you along with your wed-min and share the latest food trends set to make a craze next year!
Why offer your guests just one dessert? No one wants to make a decision on choosing just one! We are now seeing more dessert stations offering innovative ways to serve the dessert course as well as a choice that will please all your guests. It’s even more exciting when you start collaborating colours and flavours.
Our talented Michelin trained head chef, David Cox, is the King of Desserts (just ask the staff)! Passionfruit profiteroles, Elderflower and English strawberry posset, and Banoffee and gold leaf chocolate eclair are a few of Daves irresistible indulgences!! A colourful array of sweet treats on an Iscoyd Dessert Bar gives an alternative and fun offering on your big day!
Food Stations
Food markets have become increasingly popular in recent times and offer a more casual approach to food. With exciting and experimental dishes from around the world, food stations can offer an array of cuisines served in different ways. With such wide appeal, it was only going to be a matter of time until these food stations and trucks made their way into weddings to provide delicious late-night snacks.
For a few years now we have had our famous vintage Citroen Pizza van, Philomena and she’s showing no signs of slowing down! Our Pizza van has an amazing stone wood fired oven which allows our chefs to cook fresh, tasty pizzas right in front of all your guests with pizza toppings galore. Pizzas are perfect evening food, giving everyone some extra fuel and energy to party on for the rest of the evening! We don’t stop at pizzas either, we have our homemade burger bar, bowl food station , our amazing Mac and cheese bar and even last month we even had traditional Greek gyros. OPA
Plant Based Dishes
Vegetarian and Vegan dishes have now become an essential part of any menu. People are becoming more adventurous with plant based living, and as this has developed so has the food on offer at Iscoyd to our guests, no matter what culinary interests they have to enjoy the amazing food experience our chefs create so well.
Our vegetable based dishes are colourful and full of flavour with our chefs creating dishes such as Salt Baked Beetroots, Whipped Goats Cheese with Hazelnuts and Watercress, Spiced Lentil and Crushed Vegetable Wellington with Pickled Red Cabbage and Puff Pastry Mille Feuille, with Chickpeas, Lentils, Mushrooms, Spinach and Squash. These dishes have been designed with just as much quality and creativity as any others on our menu whilst still being suitable for everyone.
