We flung open Iscoyd’s doors to welcome many newly engaged couples (Congrats again!) at our end of summer open day. Not only did we meet lots of new couples, but we also caught up many who are already planning their weddings with us.

With Autumn looming we decided to round off a wonderful summer with the mother of all garden parties. Our picnic & summer garden vibes, however, were knocked for six by typical British weather, so we brought the party into the house.
It was monkey, Mac n Cheese, jungle themed madness in the Coach House, with sounds by our favourite Jonny Ross’s DJ & percussionist set up, along with classic wedding tunes by 5-piece band Dae La Roux which had everyone singing and dancing along.

Red Floral Architecture (the floral industries best) WOWED the Iscoyd team and our couples yet again, with probably our favourite marquee design set up yet, (though we seem to say this every open day) with stunning pampas, fresh bright white flowers and a tower ring of dried hops, married beautifully with the simplicity of the black candle holders and white twinkling marquee lights, it really was a show stopper!
The Garden Room boasted Autumnal colours created by our in-house florist Selina Godsal. It was definitely a ‘goosebumps’ moment turning the corner and walking down the aisle echoed with the beautiful sounds of strings by Nero String Quartet, there were lots of tears (happy ones)!

The Team ensured all the newly engaged couples were guided around the house (it is very easy to get lost). We discussed the wishes and dreams for their own day and showed them how Iscoyd could help achieve these and provide the perfect place for their day, however that may be.
Our incredible kitchen team supplied us with endless mouth-watering canapés, including our favourite, the classic steak on a triple cooked chip with béarnaise sauce, and new to our menus, Iscoyd Mini Magnums which had EVERYONE snapping a picture for Instagram.

There was (of course) everyone’s favourite stone baked pizza, from our Pizza in the Park, vintage Citroen van Philomena!
We can always count on Birdie to add to the fun. Everyone (including the wedding managers & housekeepers) enjoyed the oversized love heart glasses, giant ice cream & trumpet props, pictures are now hanging up in the in-house team kitchen for us all to have a laugh at!
The Godsals hinted at some very exciting news with a tantalising glimpse at the next project, (phil is renowned for not being able to keep a secret!) which we plan to officially announce at our January Open Weekend …. So, look out for more hints as things develop!
25th/26thJanuary – put us into your shiny new 2020 diaries!
Lots of Iscoyd Love,
The Iscoyd Team!
