Iscoyd park are delighted to present their own intimate jazz club evening with delicious food and chilled music provided by singer/songwriter and award-winning actor Ian Bartholomew.
In an intimate and welcoming environment with a relaxed speakeasy vibe, the stylish coach house will be turned into Shropshire’s answer to Ronnie Scott’s club for the night. Book a table, enjoy welcome drinks and delicious canapes, a two course dinner and an evening of stunning live music.
Ian has sung and played all over the world with many different bands, but he is best known for his highly acclaimed performances in major musicals in the West End, for which he has been nominated for an Olivier Award 4 times. He can currently be seen in Coronation Street as regular character Geoff Metcalfe.
With guitarist Chris Hooper, Ian will be performing a mix of original songs and timeless classics -there’ll be blues, jazz, gospel, country and swing, in what promises to be a very special evening.
They will be performing a mix of original songs from Ian’s album “’two kinds of fool’, premiering some brand new tunes, as well as a few timeless classics. There’ll be a bit of blues, a touch of soul, a little jazz, a soupçon of gospel, a flurry of country, a smidgeon of swing, and a whole lotta love.
Iscoyd Park has been in the Godsal family since 1843, Phil and Susie Godsal took over the running of the house in 2009 and began a much needed restoration project. They live in the house today with their three children and run it both as a wedding and events venue and a family home. Find out more about us.
